Horace Gentleman Panter

I went to Las Vegas  recently to make some pictures. It was a fascinating place but maybe a little too "spring break" for my likings so along the way I read this fantastic memoir from Specials bassists Horace "Gentleman" Panter. Not only is it a great insight into the Specials formation, successes and disintegration but a great account of British youth culture during Margaret Thatchers bleak reign.  A time when music and politics stood very happily together and made a difference to a lot of people.
